Dump Truck Driver (31t)
Location

Qualification
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment for loading and unloading materials.
Experience
- Proven experience of 5-10 years as a dump truck driver or in a similar role, preferably with experience driving trucks with a capacity of 31 tons.
- Excellent driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing the operation of commercial vehicles.
Requirements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and securing heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety at all times.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive dump trucks with a capacity of 31 tons to transport various materials, including soil, gravel, sand, and construction debris.
- Load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment such as loaders or excavators.
- Transport materials to designated locations within construction sites or other specified destinations.
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck on public roads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized condition of the truck's interior and exterior.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities and follow company procedures for documenting and reporting incidents.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
