Position: Retail Banking Operations Executive
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a premier banking client. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring seamless credit operations for secured lending products (Mortgages, Auto Loans, and SME Lending).
Key Responsibilities:
- Process loan account opening, maintenance, and closures with strict KYC/AML adherence.
- Verify and validate loan documentation (mortgages, auto loans, SME) as per bank policies.
- Screen customers for PEPs, sanctions, and risk factors to mitigate fraud.
- Execute loan disbursals, settlements, and lien releases with zero errors.
- Maintain MIS reports, GL reconciliations, and audit-ready records.
- Resolve customer inquiries and service requests within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Audit teams for seamless operations.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to system improvements/UAT testing.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in retail banking operations, preferably in mortgages, auto loans, or SME lending.
- Hands-on experience with loan documentation, disbursals, and servicing.
- Familiarity with KYC/AML norms, maker-checker controls, and banking software (e.g., Finacle, LMS).
- Strong analytical skills – ability to spot discrepancies and escalate risks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and detail-oriented reporting.
