Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and customer service, and manage staff performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, well-versed in Japanese cuisine, and have a strong background in restaurant management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food quality, and customer service.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure menu consistency and timely food preparation.
- Prepare daily sales reports and manage budgeting and cost control.
- Promote the restaurant through marketing initiatives and community engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
